Kim Baker
Kim Baker has been in the cosmetology industry for more than 15 years. And while styles, fashions and products have changed, one thing has remained constant: Kim's insistence that her clients always have the best possible experience. Kim created Bijou Salon with that idea in mind. And to that end, she makes sure she and her staff are always on top of the latest trends and techniques, that she only offers the best products and that her salon is a place where clients can feel relaxed, respected and rejuvenated. Kim draws inspiration from her friends and family, which includes her two sons and her fiance.
Linda Cuddeback Phelps
Linda Cuddeback Phelps has been practicing cosmetology in Skaneateles for 12 years. She attended the Phillips Hairstyling Institute in Syracuse and has also attended Lanza and Colorsync color classes, Bareminerals makeup classes and Euphora cutting classes. She has advanced training in the Aveda skin care line. Although Linda performs all services, including hair (cuts and color), nails, pedicures and waxing, she most enjoys doing Aveda facials, which include soothing music, aroma therapy, hot towels and a massage (head, neck, arms, legs and feet). Although Bijou carries a variety of exceptional products, Linda has been a loyal user of the Aveda skin care line for more than 10 years.
Lori Lovell
Lori Lovell has been a stylist for more than 15 years, the last 10 of which have been in Skaneateles. Her clients love that she treats them like family. She believes a trip to the salon is not just about getting a great cut or color, but about feeling cared for and pampered by a good friend. Lori is a skilled professional who takes her job seriously, but she doesn't consider it work; for her, it's a way to stay connected with her clients and to take a break from her real job: raising her three small children!
Samantha Mattice
Samantha Mattice, better known as Sam, has been doing hair professionally for four years. They say if you can find a job you love, you never have to work a day in your life. That's how Sam feels about her job. Even though it's still early in her career, Sam has already learned to enjoy the way a clientele becomes like an extended family. She can do it all, from classic cuts to visually edgy and inspiring. She is a well-rounded stylist who can also do fantastic up-dos and is magic with makeup.
Courtney Conley
Courtney Conley has been in the cosmetology field for 13 years, following in the footsteps of her mother, who owned a salon for more than 30 years. Courtney specializes in creating fun, friendly looks for every occasion. She has been trained in advanced cutting techniques, including Deva Concepts (a new way of cutting curly hair). She is professionally trained with Lanza and Matrix coloring and cutting. She prides herself with keeping up-to-date on the latest fashions by attending advanced coloring, cutting and formal styling classes and trade shows. Her friendly personality and smile will surely win you over!
Michele Zeppieri
Michele Zeppieri graduated from the Utica Career Institute for Cosmetology and has been a cosmetologist for more than 20 years. She gets the most satisfaction out of her job when she can make a client shine on both the inside and the outside. Michele loves to do all types of hair from funky textured cuts to smooth, polished precision cuts. She specializes in color and because all people have different personalities and styles, her goal is to create a personalized result for every client every time. Michele is friendly, fashionable, talented, spunky, a hard worker, and a great listener.
Stacy O'neal
Stacy O'neal has seven years of hair designing experience. A certified Chi hairstyling specialist from Terre Haute, Indiana, Stacy and her family moved to the region in 2007. And Stacy's found a home with the Bijou team. She performs many services from dimensional hair color, creative foiling techniques, and all the current cuts and styles. She loves meeting and connecting with people. Stacy likes to challenge herself, and enjoys working in a profession that allows her to be creative while making people feel great.
